Dear Rob,

Our much anticipated golf course construction project at the Club will commence shortly. While we are excited about the improvements this work will bring, we want to ensure that all members and guests are aware of the changes you may notice around the property during this time, and the precautions that are in place to keep everyone safe.

As part of the project, there will be an increase in vehicle movements and equipment activity. You will see a number of warning signs positioned in high-traffic areas, particularly near the front entry of the club. The driveway will be strictly speed limited to 10 kmph to help keep you, our staff and visiting contractors safe. This entry is a shared access road, and during the construction period it will be used regularly by construction vehicles, trucks, and equipment. Please be careful when arriving at or departing from the Club, and allow additional time when entering the property.

To support the safe and smooth delivery of this project, all contractors are being inducted via our health and safety platform, the Toolbox, and a variety of other management plans and protocols will be in place.

To assist in ensuring the project is a success we ask for your cooperation in the following ways:

  • Please comply with all signage around the club, whether on foot, in your golf cart, or in your own vehicle.
  • Ask our staff if you are ever unsure about accessing, parking or driving to a particular area of the property. We are here to help and will happily provide direction.
  • Stay vigilant when moving around the property, particularly in areas where vehicles and machinery may be present.
  • Do not approach construction or contractor areas, (around the Club or on the golf course). If your ball enters a construction zone or work area, please treat it as lost.

Your safety is our top priority, and with your assistance we can ensure this period of construction proceeds with minimal disruption. We recognise that this project will require some patience and flexibility, and we are grateful for your support as we make these enhancements to our facilities. Please be aware that any unauthorised entry into construction areas may result in disciplinary action.

We will continue to provide updates as the project progresses and will keep you informed of any significant changes to access or scheduling.

Thank you for your cooperation.
